Bowtalia was established in 2020 during the global covid-19 Pandemic. I found out I was pregnant with my first child Natalyia, and working in a hospital wasn't the safest environment for an unborn child so I was sent on medical leave. 

Whilst patiently waiting at home for my baby's appearance I had to find ways to fill my time as I couldn't socialise with friends and family, or go to the gym during lockdown, so I started making hair bows for my daughter. My friends would ask me to make some for their children/nieces and told me I could make a business from my passion. At first I was unsure but I thought why not give it a go as I didn't have much else to do. I made my own logo, started an instagram and facebook page and slowly started receiving orders.
